If you want a nice and recreative holiday you have to visit Ko Chang in Thailand. This is the right place.

We have two apartments on the island. Both in the near off the main street in White Sands Beach (Had Sai Khao Beach). If you have plans to stay a couple of days, a week or even longer. Stay as long as you willl.

Welcome to our Bar & Restaurant. Peter and the crew will take care of our restaurant guests and our apartments guests and will help to make your visit unforgettable. Our restaurant serves thai-food, cold drinks, beer and sometimes some swedish food. Peter, who have lived in Thailand for several years, knows the people and country an can give you a helping hand when you're looking for rent a bike, sightseeing, scuba diving and more. Koh Chang

The island is about 30 km long and almost 14 km wide, totaling 217 km². The national marine park covers of 650 km² of which 70 % is offshore. The name means Elephant Island. The interior of the island is mountainous, covered by tropical rain forest. The highest elevation measuring 743m is Khao Salak Phet. There are plenty of sandy beaches on the island, dotted with hotels and resorts.

The west coast settlements of Hat Sai Khao, Hat Kai Mook and Hat Ta Nam attract most of the tourists. The village of Laem Bang Bao on the south coast is also a favored destination. There is a single road linking the west coast. The remaining roads on the west coast have a high gradient, while the topography of the east coast prohibits roads. Most buildings are wooden stilt houses. The island is mostly reached by a ferry departing from Laem Ngop near Trat.

The Greek word came from the Avestan word "pairidaêza-" (an Eastern Old Iranian language) = "walled enclosure", which is a compound of pairi- (= "around") (a cognate of Greek περί peri-) and -diz (= "to create, make"), a cognate of English "dough".
